Meet Jill

Jill first fell in love with flowers when she was a little girl. Carefree days of exploration in the outdoors of the Pacific Northwest naturally urged Jill  to deeply commune with flowers and plant life. She vividly remembers the feeling of knowing that she wanted to be a florist when she "grew up!" With a background in design and a love for fine art, Jill brings to light an effortless and intuitive energy guided by seasonally sourced materials. With over 20 years of experience in the industry and nurturing Starflower, Jill continues to bring style and innovation constantly thriving on new ideas and pure design.

 

Days in Starflower are spent designing flower arrangements, styling photo shoots, picking perfect plants for customer homes and work spaces, trips to the flower market, consulting with brides helping to style their weddings bringing visions alive, and soaking up the beauty that is ever changing.

 

Starflower is a treasure trove filled with a hand selected gorgeous palette of flowers, incredible house plants, pottery, jewelry, and handmade goods. Everything shifts as the weeks pass, new colors and textural seasonal blooms pass through the shop keeping it fresh and alive. Nature is our teacher and our shop reflects this through intuitive design. Our inspiration, our work, our way of connecting with the community flows freely as care is put into every action.
