Join us for a 2-hour workshop where you'll arrange your own floral bouquet with guidance from Jill Mason, owner of Starflower, and paint your own hand-built ceramic vase with guidance from artist Julz Clementine. Both the arrangement and the vase are yours to take home!

Seasonal flowers will be provided for your floral arrangement. Your bisque-fired vase will be ready to paint - along with inspiration to guide your design. Jill will guide you through the art of seasonal floral arranging, from first stem to finished bouquet. Spots are limited - reserve yours today.

Jill Mason 

With over 20 years of experience as a designer and shop owner Jill continues to bring style and innovation to her work. She founded Starflower in 2001 with a focus on boutique weddings. As a long time gardener and appreciation for fine art Jill is known for creating natural arrangements and installations with locally sourced flowers and plant materials. Her designs bring forth a  feeling that they have organically grown in the environment surrounding the venue or bring perfect balance in the arrangements created for your home or occasion. With an emphasis on form and movement her desire is to create unique, immersive and visually rich experiences with flowers.

Julz Clementine

Julz Clementine is a muralist, educator, + surface pattern designer based in Portland, Oregon. Her work blends tactile materials with bold visual storytelling. From murals and city street placemaking to swimwear and stationery, her art spans a wide range of mediums and surfaces. Julz has collaborated with a variety of brands and organizations including Burgerville, Portland Art Museum, Storey Publishing, Thunderpants, Travel Portland, Nutcase Helmets, and more - always aiming to spark joy and offer a fresh, playful perspective. Her practice centers community, inclusion, and play, using art as a tool for connection, reflection, and finding meaning in everyday life.
